Maestro Riccardo Muti comes back to Opera di Firenze on March 31, 2017 to conduct Orchestra and Choir of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino with a long awaited concert on the occasion of the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Culture in Italy.

Riccardo Muti had already conducted his Orchestra Giovanile Cherubini in the same theater in an exciting and wonderful concert in December 2014. The present extraordinary occasion to see him and listen to his music again with the Orchestra of “Maggio” is offered by the G7 Ministerial Meeting taking place in Florence on March 30 and 31. This is the first assembly overall in the G7 history that Italy realizes in order to place culture and cultural patrimony at the heart of governmental policies.

In order to state the importance of such a significant event, during the meeting days Maestro will be on the podium on two occasions:

March 30 for the opening of the assembly in Palazzo Vecchio – exclusively for the participants in the meeting;

March 31 at 20:00 at Opera di Firenze
